Characteristics:
About 33 cm long. White plumage with yellow or orange crest.

Distribution:
Often seen in major parks and Mid-Levels on Hong Kong Island. Introduced species.

Habits:
Very noisy, gregarious. Nests in holes in trees and feeds on fruits, seeds and nectar.
