Characteristics:
About 13 cm long. Plumage is grey, white and black with a black line on underparts.

Distribution:
Resident. Usually creeps about high in the trees. Commonly seen in rural woodland and major urban parks.

Habits:
Lively and active. Keeps in contact by giving calls to each other. Usually we will hear its calls before seeing the bird on tree branches. Small family parties can be seen in spring and summer. Feeds mainly on fruits and insects.
