To allow members of the public to experience the vibrancy and joyous atmosphere of parks, and have a fun-filled holiday with family, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department is organising a series of “Storm the Park” activities in different districts. In addition to enjoying the existing park facilities, visitors may also double the fun by taking part in a variety of different recreation and sports activities, such as Frisbee playing, orienteering and fitness exercises etc. Members of the public are welcome to join the activities free of charge.
In celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Storm the Park Days will feature an amazing array of activity for public enjoyment. In addition to the Flower Viewing and Sketching @ Lai Chi Kok Park held on 9 April, three more Storm the Park Days with the themes of water fun, model car and camping will be organised between July and November. Members of the public are welcome to join in the activities for free. Let’s storm the park!
