Free family programmes at Tuen Mun Town Hall X'mas Fun Day

     Hip-hop dance, a band show and dance performances by minority groups will be just some of the top attractions at the Tuen Mun Town Hall (TMTH) X'mas Fun Day on December 14 (Saturday). A sharing session on "Magic King and Cinderella: The Lost Diamonds", a magic show and roving performances will also feature in the event, which will be held from 2pm to 5.30pm at TMTH.

     The Fun Day, presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, will offer visitors a variety of delightful and participatory free admission programmes to share the joy of Christmas.

     The Fun Day will begin at the Cultural Square, with a symphonic band concert by the Hong Kong Children's Symphonic Band from the Music Office, exciting band music performed by different community groups, a band show and dance performances by minority groups, a hip-hop dance performance and a dance performance by the Tuen Mun Arts Promotion Association. Also not to be missed will be a magic show by Yan Chai Hospital; an acrobatic performance by Hong Chi Morninghill School, Tuen Mun; and a sharing session on the TMTH Venue Partnership Musical Programmes "The Legendary Heroines" and "Magic King and Cinderella: The Lost Diamonds" by Spring-Time Experimental Theatre. Children will also be able to join a straw handicraft workshop.

     In addition, family activities will be held including arts and crafts and games stalls, hand painting by minority groups, a "Handicraft DIY" workshop, inflatable games, interactive play zones and roving performances.
