Hong Kong Central Library talk on "green eating"
************************************************

What is green eating? What types of food are best for us?

Organised by the Hong Kong Public Libraries of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, a talk titled "Save the Earth - Start from Green Eating" will be held at 3pm on December 8 (Sunday) at the Lecture Theatre of the Hong Kong Central Library. Well-known green activist Dr Chau Sui-cheong will share his thoughts on how a good diet leads to greater health and energy and protects the Earth, as well as his experience in promoting a "green culture" in Hong Kong.

Dr Chau is chairperson of LifeFlow and the Produce Green Foundation. He also holds a doctorate from the University of Edinburgh (UK) and has lectured at various Hong Kong universities. Since retiring in 2006 he has focused his energy on promoting green living. He has written numerous articles for newspapers and published more than 200 books and CDs.

The talk will be conducted in Cantonese and admission is free. Tickets will be distributed from November 29 at the Map Library, 5/F, Hong Kong Central Library. A maximum of two tickets per person is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

For enquiries about the talk, please call 2921 0351.
