A magic show, acrobatic and roving performances, juggling clowns, folk dancing, classic Christmas songs, a jazz music performance, arts and crafts stalls, games stalls and venue guided tours will be some of the highlights of the Tuen Mun Town Hall Christmas Fun Day, to be held from 2pm to 5.30pm on Sunday (December 4) at Tuen Mun Town Hall.
The Fun Day, presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and with free admission, will present a variety of delightful family entertainment programmes for visitors to share the joy of Christmas.
The programmes to be held at the Foyer Stage of Tuen Mun Town Hall are a Chinese folk dance performance by the Tuen Mun Arts Promotion Association, a magic show and funny juggling clown show by the Treasury Company, a jazz music performance by the Ad Lib Music and Arts Association and a choral performance by the Tuen Mun Children Choir.
To enable visitors to learn more about the facilities of Tuen Mun Town Hall, there will be guided tours at the auditorium. Visitors will be able to enjoy a fascinating stage experience when the backstage crew demonstrate the lighting, sound and stage hanging system. In addition, guided tours at the music studio and the dance studio will also be arranged. Some classes will be open for public viewing and participation.
Not to be missed are family activities such as interactive play zones, arts and crafts stalls and games stalls at the Cultural Square. At the outdoor stage there will be tap dancing, acrobatic and roving performances and children's theatre. A handicrafts DIY workshop at the Lecture Room will also be held for families.
Admission is free for all programmes. No tickets are required. Participants also have the chance to win souvenirs at the Fun Day. Enquiries can be made on 2450 4202, and information is available at the Tuen Mun Town Hall website at www.lcsd.gov.hk/tmth.
