Y-Space to perform "Body, I.D., Space IV"
*****************************************

Local dance group Y-Space will perform their latest production, "Body, I.D., Space IV", in July. The show's performers and dancers will be Mandy Yim, Yuenjie Maru, Acty Tang, Peng Yu Hai, Li Cheng and GiGi Yang.

The six performers come from Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and South Africa, and have received performing arts training in areas ranging from Chinese dance, ballet and modern dance to videography and physical theatre. Victor Ma, the choreographer and artistic director of Y-Space, brought together the six for "Body, I.D., Space IV". The innovative production explores limb movements and then, by virtue of the theatre space and by bringing together live music, dance, video projection and interactive media, sees bodies and identities clash in limited space to create meaning and explore all the mysteries of life.

"Body, I.D., Space IV" by Y-Space is presented by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. It will be staged at 8pm on July 23 and 24 (Saturday and Sunday), at the Multi-Media Theatre and Creative Promenade, HKICC LSK School of Creativity. Tickets priced at $180 are now available at all URBTIX outlets, on the Internet and by telephone credit card booking. Half-price tickets are available for senior citizens aged 60 or above, people with disabilities, full-time students and Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) recipients (limited tickets for CSSA recipients available on a first-come, first-served basis). A group booking discount is also available. Please refer to the programme leaflet for details.

For programme enquiries, call 2268 7323; for ticketing enquiries, call 2734 9009; for credit card telephone booking, call 2111 5999; for Internet booking, visit www.urbtix.hk. For more information, visit www.lcsd.gov.hk/cp.
