School Care Subsidy Scheme

The "School Care Subsidy Scheme", with the support of Sino Group, aims at encouraging school music groups to serve the community through music performance. Participants may combine music with other art forms in the performance so as to enrich the programme in a creative way, and benefit themselves in the building of team spirit and organizing skills from the production process.

Since its launched in 2009, the Scheme has drawn the participation of over 250 school music groups and reached out to well over 24,000 under-privileged at elderly house, sheltered homes, hospitals, work places and centers of under-privileged groups, etc.

2016/17 School Care Subsidy Scheme has been successfully concluded with the participation of 37 primary schools, secondary schools, kindergartens and special schools. To share the activity highlights and wonderful moments with the public, photos of the Concerts and participants’ feedback have been uploaded to the Scheme’s Facebook page.

This scheme will continue to run in the 2017/18 academic year. Details will be announced later.
