Opening hours of LCSD recreation and sports facilities during Lunar New Year holidays

Sports centres, various fee-charging land-based facilities, swimming pools and water sports centres of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department will be closed during the Lunar New Year holidays　(February 10-12, 2013). Services at gazetted beaches will be suspended. Hong Kong Stadium and all sports grounds will be closed unless advance bookings have been made.

Holiday camps will be closed during the first three days of the Lunar New Year and lodging will not be provided on New Year Eve (February 9, 2013).

For public convenience, 27 sports centres, 15 turf pitches venues, 20 squash venues, 18 tennis venues, archery range at Ngau Chi Wan Park, bowling greens at Island East Sports Centre and Tuen Mun Recreation and Sports Centre will be re-opened earlier on the third day of the Lunar New Year (February 12). Details are at the table below.

Leisure Link booking offices will be closed during the holidays but for those venues scheduled to be re-opened on the third day of the Lunar New Year, service will be resumed. The Leisure Link Internet and telephone reservation services will operate as usual throughout the Lunar New Year holidays.
