Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager


Salary: HK$ 52,310 per month

Entry Requirements:
Candidates should
(a) have a Hong Kong degree, or equivalent;
(b) have Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent (see Note);
(c) be proficient in English, Cantonese and Putonghua;
(d) have good knowledge in the application of common business software of Microsoft Word, Excel and so on;
(e) have at least seven years¡¦ full-time working experience in marketing, brand engineering and/or marketing research with four years of which in managerial positions;
(f) have working experience in projects and events management, be familiar with the operation of large enterprises and corporations;
(g) have worked in or with advertising and public relations agencies; and
(h) have excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills.


(Note:
¡¥Grade E¡¦ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ¡¥Level 2¡¦ in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.)

Duties:
(a) To assist in drawing up strategies and plans for branding the museums, the Hong Kong Film Archive and the Art Promotion Office (hereafter referred as the ¡§Museums¡¨) under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department;
(b) To assist in devising local and overseas marketing strategies of the Museums to widen the audience base and improve the utilization of venue facilities;
(c) To develop and manage electronic and social media marketing and branding initiatives;
(d) To plan and implement publicity campaigns for the Museums;
(e) To conduct surveys and market researches, analyse service needs and formulate improvement measures;
(f) To assist in developing ideas and plans for enhancing the image and appeal of the museum cafes and bookshops;
(g) To enhance the links and partnership with various sectors for achieving organizational goals;
(h) To supervise subordinates to assist in the execution of the above duties; and
(i) To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Working Hours:
The successful candidate may be required to work irregular hours, on weekends and/or public holidays.

Terms of Appointment:
The successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for a period of 1 year in general.

Fringe Benefits:
A gratuity may be granted to the appointee upon satisfactory completion of the contract with a consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity payable will be the sum which, when added to the Government's contribution to an MPF scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), annual leave, maternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in line with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance.
