"The Gate" promises to be an unusually fresh experience for Hong Kong audience. It is Tan Dun's successful endeavor in fusing 'primitive' ritual into modern concert hall by adopting media outside traditional orchestra performance. You are invited to join Tan Dun at the judge panel in hearing the stories of three ancient beauties told in dramatic actions and video images cast upon the specially devised orchestral platform, discovering a new vision 'resurrected' from old traditions.
