The majority of specimens presented in the exhibition are very rare animals captured for scientific purposes in submersible expeditions. Due to their special body structure and enormous pressure at their habitat, these animals cannot survive on the surface. The animals are presented in an aqueous chemical medium, and suspended using fishing lines attached to the resin walls. This special method of presentation allows the creature to be displayed in the most natural way.
