A Prelude to Olympic Games

Science Cart is specially designed for science learning activities. The cart is equipped with a number of props on various topics of basic science. As the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games are approaching, the Museum has specially developed new contents related to sports science so as to introduce how science discoveries can be applied to sport activities, and to reveal how athletes can make use of new technology to break records. Activities include: an electric shock game to experience a time challenge with your rivals; a magic using forks to fix a one-dollar coin on top of a tooth pick to understand more about centre of gravity; and a game of fixing two books together with friction, etc.
