Travelling Exhibition

To extend the Museum's education services to schools, the Hong Kong Science Museum produces various types of educational kits on loan to schools for free. Teachers can utilize these resources to supplement their teaching.

There are 5 exhibitions available on loan, consisting of graphic panels and supplementary teaching kits. The topics include:

  1. SARS and Viruses* (suitable for secondary schools)
    Unveils the pathway on viral infection with SARS and some typical viruses as example.
  2. Optical Illusion (suitable for secondary schools)
    It challenges your common perceptions and unveils the mystery of human recognition through games of illusion.
  3. Ask Professor Water (suitable for secondary school students)
    Highlights the science of water and introduces the engineering technology behind water supply in Hong Kong.
  4. Care of Your Eyes* (suitable for kindergartens and primary schools)
    Introduces the eye structure, causes of vision defects, remedies and the importance of its daily care.
  5. Love the Everest, Love our Earth* (suitable for kindergartens)
    Arouses students' awareness on the importance of environmental protection through the introduction of the ecology of the North Pole, the South Pole and the Everest region.

* Schools are required on their own to pick up, install and return the exhibition back to the Hong Kong Science Museum.
