The all-powerful warlord Jin (Yiu Kwong-chao) is a tyrant, protecting the wicked while profiting from the ordinary people. He even tries to have his way with the local restaurant owner's daughter Yu (Law Yim-hing). When Jin discovers that Yu intends to marry her boyfriend Fook (Sun Ma Si-tsang), he forces Fook into the military. Fook eventually manages to escape dressed as a woman, setting off a twist-filled adventure that leads to Jin getting his comeuppance. Acting for the first time in a Cantonese film, Yiu constantly switches between heavily accented Cantonese and Mandarin, causing confusion for other characters and creating comedy gold for audiences.
