Ding Yue plays a key role in this family melodrama, adapted from a Commercial Radio airwave serial, complete with all the drastic twists and turns in plot. Patricia Lam Fung plays Hung, a young woman who is the illegitimate daughter of a rich family’s son (the neverboring Cheung Ying), who was forced to marry against his will and abandoned Hung’s mother (Tang Bik-wan). When she falls in love with a young man, the spoiled daughter of the family (actually her half-sister) is so jealous that a teddy boy is summoned to ruin the life of Hung. Ding turns in a delicious performance, breezing through the wind on his bike and boogieing his way on the floor of cheap dance halls.
