Talk about saving the best for later and holding the suspense for as long as possible! It’s not until 40 minutes into the film that the detective makes his grand entrance to the scene of crime, with the camera zooming in to give his now trademark outfit (deerstalker hat and trench coat) a onceover. Despite his late arrival on the scene, the official dick leaps into non-stop action, hunting high and low to catch the murderer.
