Detective Ng ( Sima Wah-lung) returns to the mystery-shrouded villa of a businessman (Lee Ching) to open the ten-year-old cold case murders of his wife and daughter, his investigation complicated by the arrival of a cousin (Cheung Ying) and subsequent sightings of the supernatural. The sharp-witted detective goes on to unravel the truth behind a ghost that was not and a grieving husband who has got away with his crime. Sima again stands out from the star-studded line-up as the detective who plays dumb to outwit the cunning of the real culprit.
