Hardworking servant Kong-yuet (Yu Lai-zhen) is beaten to death by her wicked boss Li Law-si (Tam Lan-hing), only to reincarnate as the titular Broom Spirit. When she encounters a fortune teller (Leung Sing-po), a temple keeper (Poon Yat On) and a Taoist priest (Tang Kei-chen), she forces them to become her carriers. The four eventually learn to accommodate each other on their journey, even working together as Cha-Cha dancers on the street when they run out of money! Ending with a lesson about the importance of hard work and the heavy price of greed, this supernatural comedy teams Yu (at her most terrifying at the scorned spirit) with three comedy masters, elevating Yu’s comedic work to a new level.
