In this film, director Lung To combines period dramas about unjust cases with ghost movies, adding to it a thrilling soundtrack and special makeup. The acting of the child star Fung Bo-bo and the monkey make the story even more riveting. Chan Kam-tong plays the bad guy who hires a killer to poison Lee Takcheong (Mak Bing-wing), whose wife (Law Yim-hing) he covets, and does away with the killer later. Framing Lee’s wife and one of their employees with murder, he steals their inheritance and abuses their child (Fung Bo-bo). In the end, the case is solved and justice is done thanks to Judge Bao (Lan Chi Pak). Director Lung To fills the film with horror, such as showing the bloody look of Mak Bingwing as a ghost, and using special light effects in the ghost scenes. Lan Chi Pak, despite only appearing in the final scene, he dominates it completely with his powerful singing and operatic skills.
