The Paradise Hotel attracts all kinds of customers, including amorous businessman Lau Mao (Lee Pangfei), singer Pak Fung-sin (Ha Ping), fading Chinese opera star Chung Ngai-sing (Cheung Ying) and the righteous Fung Tit-han (Tso Tat-wah). One of the people Fung saves is the hotel cleaning lady’s daughter Kong Siu-wai (Han Ying), who is unwittingly duped by Lau. However, Kong’s desire for a rich husband leads to another harebrained plan that forces her mother (Wong Man-lei) to pose as a rich tai tai. Fortunately, Kong learns to come clean about her real family background and earns forgiveness from her new heir boyfriend. As the hotel cleaning lady who will do anything for her daughter, Wong shows off a kind motherly aura that audiences can easily fall in love with.
