The marriage of newlywed couple (Lam Kar-sing and Christine Pai Lu-ming) is quickly tested when the man's old flame (Chan Ho-kau) suddenly reappears. To prevent his wife from getting jealous, the man has his employee (Chiang Kuang-chao) take care of the unwelcome guest. However, one misunderstanding leads to another, and the wife eventually discovers the truth. Now, the angry wife is banding her fellow housewives together to take down mistresses everywhere. Also an actor in Mandarin films, Chiang has perfected a style of accented Cantonese that he uses in this film to great comedic effect.
