Another romantic comedy set in the familiar confines of a cramp tenement apartment where friendship and love, fate and hate collide. There, factory worker Chui Lai-ping (Ting Ying) reunites with ex-coworker Lee Siu-kuen (Man Oi-lan) who is taken as the manager's mistress in lieu of debts owed by her mother. Endlessly bickering over trivial matters, Chui and neighbour Tong Siu-wah (Lam Kar-sing) are in fact pen friends and soulmates who have never met. Odd coincidences and neurotic events bring out plenty of harsh reality but also enough humor and wit for redemption. Money is not everything and love indeed conquers all as this apartment for singles turns into a love nest for couples.
