It was the swinging 1970s: Cantonese opera was ten minutes ago and melodic ditties five; in came disco, pet rocks, bad fashion and the territory's precursor to boy bands. The Wynners, looking goooood in bell bottoms and long, feathered hair, team up with James Wong for this exercise in rollicking fun. Wong is the mastermind who not only directed and wrote the script but also penned the lyrics to the catchy tunes that not only sing of the hopes and dreams of 1970s youth but also came to define the sound of early Cantopop.
