Located at the Hong Kong City Hall High Block the Public Library aims to provide public library services to meet the community's need for knowledge, information and research, to support life-long learning, continuous education and profitable use of leisure time, and to promote local literary arts. In order to meet with public needs for information services, three thematic libraries, namely the Business and Industry Library, Creativity and Innovation Resources Centre and Basic Law Library, have been set up and formed a part of City Hall Public Library alongside with its ever-growing lending and reference services.
