Pui O Campsite, comprising a campsite office, camp bays, barbecue pits, etc., is located next to Pui O Beach in Lantau Island. |

Take bus No. 1 or No. 4 (to Tong Fuk) at Mui Wo Ferry Pier and get off at Bui O Public School (a 15-minute ride), or take bus No. 3M or No. A35 at Tung Chung Town Centre and get off at Bui O Public School (a 30-minute ride). |

Other than the specified dates (Note 1), the camp bays at Pui O Campsite are available for use by making on-site registration at the campsite office on a first-come-first-served basis. Information including the number of campers, name of contact person, emergency contact number(s), dates of use, etc. has to be provided. Each person may register for one camp bay only. |
Rules for Use of Campsite

The camp bays are available for use by making on-site registration on a first-come-first-served basis (except for the specified dates (Note 1). Each person may register for one camp bay only.

Campers should check in at the campsite office, and inform the campsite office before their departure.

Campers should comply with the Bathing Beaches Regulation and the rules for use of this campsite.

No lighting of fires at the beach or outside the designated barbecue area. Offenders may be prosecuted.

Please keep quiet after 11:00pm to avoid causing nuisance to others.

Please keep the campsite clean, be friendly to the environment and save water.

For the sake of hygiene in the campsite, major cleansing is scheduled on a weekly basis. Campers are required to pack up and leave the camp bays on the cleansing day to facilitate the cleansing work. Those who wish to use the camp bays afterwards should make a registration at the campsite office at noon.

Special Booking Arrangements (applicable to specified dates(Note 1))
For effective management and advance booking of Pui O Campsite by local residents, special booking arrangements applicable to specified dates will be introduced on a trial basis.
Local residents who wish to use the campsite on any of the specified dates(Note 1) may submit their application forms according to the special booking arrangements. The 52 camp bays in the campsite will be allocated by drawing lots. Each applicant may book one camp bay only for not more than 4 consecutive nights. The applicant is required to produce his/her identity card and a confirmation letter / permit for use of the campsite for verification when checking in. Unreserved camp bays are available for use by local residents and tourists by making a registration at the campsite office on a first-come-first-served basis.
Booking Procedure
Local residents may submit their application forms within the specified dates.(Note 1) Completed application form should be submitted in person or by post to the Islands District Leisure Services Office of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department at Room 622, 6/F, Harbour Building, 38 Pier Road, Central, Hong Kong.
Each applicant may apply to use one camp bay only for a maximum consecutive period of 5 days and 4 nights. Repeated applications will not be processed. If applications received outnumber the camp bays, lots will be drawn to allocate the camp bays.
