Introduction

Swimming is one of the most popular forms of summer recreation in Hong Kong. The Department takes an active role in the provision and management of public swimming facilities in the Region.

Pool Water

Water in all pools is continuously filtered and sterilized throughout the opening hours. The water quality is closely monitored on the spot as well as by regular laboratory tests.
