Introduction

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department manages a total of 43 public swimming pool complexes in Hong Kong, of which 9 are on Hong Kong Island, 13 in Kowloon and 21 in the New Territories.

Pool Water

Pool water in all public swimming pools is continuously filtered and sterilised throughout the opening hours. The water quality is always closely monitored on the spot as well as by regular laboratory tests.
