Stamps reflect history. Dr Sun Yat-sen is an important figure in contemporary Chinese history; consequently stamps and postal items commemorating this great man have been issued throughout the world. A collection of stamps on Dr Sun Yat-sen and postal memorabilia since 1912 is being staged at the Special Exhibition Gallery of the Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum. These exhibits come from postal organisations from various regions, including Mainland China, Taiwan, Macau, Hong Kong, USA, Romania, the Soviet Union, Argentina, Papua New Guinea, St. Vincent and Tanzania. They artfully symbolised the place this giant of a man holds in history."
