The Omnimax Show ¡§Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure¡¨ brings to life the most bizarre, ferocious and fascinating creatures ever inhabited in the Earth¡¦s oceans including the long-necked Styxosaurus, 6-metre ¡§bulldog¡¨ fish Xiphactinus and 12-metre super-predator Tylosaurus, also known as the T-Rex of the ocean.

Following the discoveries of fossils of amazing ocean creatures around the world, paleontologists unveil the secrets of the sea monsters in the past step by step. The show combines state-of-the-art animations with ultra-high-resolution computer graphics and takes audiences on a remarkable journey into the unexplored world of ocean creatures that lived during the Cretaceous Period more than 80 million years ago.

The Cretaceous world was very different from that we know today. Eighty million years ago, many places on Earth were once undersea ¡X Europe was just a smattering of islands, much of Asia was underwater and a shallow ocean engulfed nearly all of Australia at that time. Some seagoing reptiles flourished on this sodden sphere.
