Pack your pouch, grab your passport and prepare to uncover the "Land Down Under" as never before seen in the large-format film Australia: Land Beyond Time.

From the miles of red, weathered sand dunes that characterize the continent's famed Outback, to the cascading waterfalls and lush wildlife of its scattered rainforests, Australia is a land of extremes.

Uluru - Once known as Ayers Rock, Uluru is the spiritual centre of the continent for many of its traditional inhabitants.

Pelicans - A small section of a very large temporary pelican rookery gathers near Lake Eyre in far Western Queensland.

Meet koalas and trace the evolutionary journey of the kangaroo and understand how it adapted to Australia's harsh climate. Peer below the Earth's surface to see honey ants hanging like clusters of golden grapes. See "Uluru" or Ayers Rock, the spiritual center of the continent and the world's largest exposed rock, which changes color from blue to a glowing red, depending on light and atmospheric conditions.

Isolated from other continents for millions of years, the plants and animals of Australia have evolved in ways that make Australia look more like another planet than another continent.

Thorny devil - This slow-moving desert lizard eats nothing but small black ants.

Kangaroo - Western Gray kangaroos take a drink from a waterhole before beginning their twilight feeding.

Platypus - The platypus is a mammal that lays eggs.

Echidna - he echidna uses its long sticky tongue to catch ants. The echidna and the platypus are the only existing egg-laying mammals.
