Arabia is a strange and mysterious place to outsiders. Frequently appeared in news reports of mass media yet rarely visited by foreigners and captured by cameras, Arabia is a world cloaked in myths and mysteries, resulting in misinformation and sparking endless curiosity.

Audiences of Omnimax Show"Arabia: In Search of the Golden Ages" will set out on a visually stunning journey into the heart of the history-laden Arabian Peninsula ˇV to cross sand dunes in a camel caravan, to dive into the reefs of the shipwreck-laced Red Sea, to excavate the towering tombs of a dazzling lost city, to witness the moving spiritual journey of the Hajj and, above all, to meet the new generation of Arabians who are forging new paths in a contemporary moment of historic transformation.

Arabia Peninsula

Saudi Arabia is the largest country in terms of area on the Arabian Peninsula and the worldˇ¦s largest country without rivers and streams. The parched land, however, is the worldˇ¦s number one exporter of petroleum. One fourth of the worldˇ¦s oil reserves are found in Saudi Arabia.

Modern Arabia: Riyadh, the capital and largest city of Saudi Arabia, has a beautiful cityscape at night with the impressive Kingdom Tower, one of the tallest buildings in the country, at the centre.

The Ka'ba, a holy place of Islam, situates at the centre of the Grand Mosque in Makkah (Mecca). The Hajj, the annual pilgrimage to Makkah, is one of the five pillars of Islam, obligating every Muslim to travel to the Grand Mosque at least once in their lifetime.
