A large fluorescent model of the Milky Way is housed in a dark enclosure. Visitors can select a topic which highlights parts of the model and activates a narrative programme. The finale to the Hall of Astronomy is a 40-seat theatre which shows audio-visual presentations on selected astronomical topics at various times of the day.
