1. Turn
each kaleidocycle inwards or outwards. How many pictures
does each kaleidocycle contain?

Each kaleidocycle is actually
made of components with identical shape. These components
are able to rotate along one or more axes of symmetry.
Different kaleiodocycles have different periods of rotation.
After a series of flexes, the kaleiocycle returns to the
original state. Each rotation is revealed by changes in
patterns painted on the kaleidocycle.
