Kaleidoscope

Instructions:
1. Put different mirror tubes on the mount. Rotate the picture disk and see how the pattern changes.

Do you know?
Kaleidoscopes usually consist of 2 to 3 mirrors and their cross-sections are mostly in the form of equilateral triangles. They are capable of creating stunning visual effects by producing repetitive yet non-overlapping images. Similar effects can also be achieved likewise by using squares, rectangles and hexagons. Other shapes such as the pentagons are not used because they are not able to produce entirely repeating patterns.
