Relations between Platonic Solids

Instructions:
1. Put different objects in the two mirror wells. Can you find an object that can produce the same polyheron in different mirror wells?

Do you know?
Regular Polyhedra can be divided into 3 groups:

Tetrahedron 4 faces 4 vertices
Cube
Octahedron
6 faces
8 faces
8 vertices
4 vertices
Dodecahedron
Icosahedron
12 faces
20 faces
20 vertices
12 vertices

We can obtain the same shape by truncating regular polyhedra belonging to the same grouping in a certain manner. This property is called the duality of regular polyhedra. As dodecahedron and icosahedron are dual of each other, they can both arrive at the same football shape by truncation.
