From Plane to Dome

Instructions:
1. Choose a grid and put it carefully in the mirror well. Are you able to create a building that looks like a sphere.

Do you know?
Buildings that have the appearance of a sphere are called geodesic domes. This form of construction is strong and has the additional advantage of enclosing a given volume with the least possible use of materials. Geodesic domes are actually derived from regular polyhedra. Those that are derived from the dodecahedron and the icosahedron have joints where 5 distinct triangles meet. Geodesic domes generated from the octahedron have a useful propoerty, spiltability. They can divide precisely into quarters.
