Nanxiong dinosaur eggs

A nest of dinosaur eggs from Cretaceous sediments in Nanxiong of Guangdong. Discovery of dinosaur egg fossils reveals that dinosaurs laid eggs with hard shells like modern reptiles. However, it would be difficult to correlate eggs to a specific species of dinosaur unless the eggs contain developed skeletons.

Footprint of Chongqingpus nananensis

Dinosaur footprints are proofs of dinosaur activities on Earth. Footprints could reveal whether a dinosaur was bipedal or quadrupedal. A series of parallel footprints showed that the dinosaurs probably travel in herds.

Plesiochelys latimarginalis

Plesiochelys latimarginalis lived in the early Jurassic( about 200 million years ago). The fossil was discovered in Zhongqing, Sichuan.

Psaronius hexagonus

Psaronius hexagonus was giant tree fern living in the early Pennsylvanian (325 million years ago). Its trunk near the base exceeded 60 cm in diameter and towered more than 15 m high, which was equivalent to an eight-storeyed-high building.
