Ticket Distribution Arrangement

For Public (Except Group Visit)

A total of 14,520 free tickets for the public was all distributed on April 25.
  • Each session lasts for half an hour. Members of the public are required to specify visit date and session when requesting tickets.
  • Visitors shall queue up for security check and be divided into groups for boarding. Ticket holders should arrive 15 minutes before the specified time at the boarding reception counter on Level 2 of Ocean Terminal.
  • Guided tour lasts about 30 minutes and conducted in Putonghua.
  • Free tickets will be distributed starting from 25 April (Saturday) from 9am - 9pm at 10 LCSD outlets
  • There are about 14,000 tickets in total for the public. Each member of the public can request a maximum of 2 tickets on a first-come-first-served basis.
  • Remaining tickets will be distributed at the Science Museum's Box Office from 9am on 26 April (Sunday) onwards.

Group Visit for Schools and Social Welfare Organizations

  • 30 Apr from 8am - 9pm. A total of about 4,600 tickets with 26 sessions of 180 visitors each.
  • Schools and social welfare organizations which are subvented by the Social Welfare Department or are currently members of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service may each apply for a maximum of 30 tickets.
  • On a first-come-first-served basis
  • Successful schools and social welfare organizations will be notified to arrive 15 minutes before the specified time at the boarding reception counter on Level 2 of Ocean Terminal for registration and collection of tickets.
  • Download application form. The completed application form with relevant document should be faxed to 2311 2248 / 2367 5459.

Remark

  • Guided tours will be arranged for the public to visit the deck, steering room, staff quarters, mission control centre, etc.
  • Visitors to the Yuanwang-6 can participate in a lucky draw with their tickets. 50 winners will be drawn for a model of Shenzhou-7 (scale 1:60) while another 50 winners will get a souvenir stamp album published by the China Satellite Maritime Tracking and Control Department in commemoration of Yuanwang-6’s first visit to Hong Kong. The lucky draw will be conducted at the Main Lobby of the Science Museum on May 5. The results as well as arrangements for collecting the prize will be announced in the South China Morning Post and Ming Pao newspapers and uploaded onto the website of the Science Museum on May 7.
