“History in Miniature: The 150th Anniversary of Stamp Issuance in Hong Kong” Stamp Exhibition

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of stamp issuance in Hong Kong, the Hongkong Post and Leisure and Cultural Services Department jointly present this stamp exhibition which showcases the evolution of Hong Kong stamps over the past 150 years and the unfading charm of stamps. Selected definitive stamps issued during different periods since 8 December 1862 and special stamps with distinctive features (especially for stamps on theme of historical buildings in Hong Kong”) will be on display, supplemented by historical photographs. Rare and valuable stamps, together with associated philatelic products that mark 150 years of stamp history in Hong Kong, will be shown as well. In addition, there will be stamps, stamp sheetlets, running sheets and the associated philatelic products of “The 150th Anniversary of Stamp Issuance in Hong Kong” released on 8 December 2012.
