"To Dig & to Learn" Workshop

What is archaeology? How old are the finds excavated in Hong Kong? Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre will organize a "To Dig & To Learn" workshop in July 2008. The tutor will introduce basic knowledge on archaeology to participants through games, mock-up excavation and surveying. It allows participant to gain knowledge in archaeologistsˇ¦ work, and learn how to differentiate finds through excavation. Through theory and practice, the workshop will enrich our knowledge and experience the fun of field archaeology.

  1. Instructor will conduct a briefing on local archaeology and its major discoveries.
