| Public Programme at Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre “Drawing Basics for Artefacts” Workshop Drawing artefacts is an important element in archaeological work. The proportions of the artefacts can be recreated, and their dimensions, profiles, patterns and structures can be explained through drawings. They can also compliment with related text and photos for cross referencing. In this workshop, the tutor will introduce the fundamentals of archaeology, important local excavations and the basics of drawing artefacts. Through drawing artefacts at the workshop, participants can also learn about its importance in archaeological work. |
