Reference Library
The Reference Library is located on G/F of the Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre. It provides reference materials on Hong Kong history, archaeology, heritage conservation, museology, architecture and other heritage-related subjects.

Online Catalogue
Members of the public can access our Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) for our collection through the Internet or the workstations at the Reference Library.


Services Provided
All reference materials in our collection are not for lending. However, the public may freely read books, periodicals and other heritage-related publications inside the Reference Library. Reservation in advance is necessary for viewing archives (such as research files and study reports) and/ or using closed stack library reference materials (such as audio-visual materials). Some of the reference materials may not be available for viewing, reproduction and/ or photocopying due to copyright and other concerns. Opening Hours

Mondays to Fridays (excluding Thursdays):		10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays:		10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Christmas Eve and Chinese New Year's Eve:		10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Closed on Thursdays (except Public Holidays) and on the first two days of the Chinese New Year
