“The Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards 2012” Roving Exhibition


The Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards is given out every year to recognize outstanding architecture designed by members of the organization. The award began in 1965 and is the most important architectural award in Hong Kong, encouraging members of the organization to raise creativity and design level, and letting the public view those outstanding projects. The Annual Awards have four categories, including:

1. HKIA Medal of the Year of Hong Kong / HKIA Merit Award of Hong Kong
2. HKIA Medal of the Year Outside Hong Kong / HKIA Merit Award Outside Hong Kong
3. President’s Prize
4. Special Architectural Award

The exhibition is organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects.

Date: 31.8 – 18.9.2013
Venue: Thematic Exhibition Gallery, Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre,
Kowloon Park, Haiphong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon
Opening Hours: Mondays to Fridays (except Thursday): 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Closed on Thursday (except Public Holidays)
