Former Fung Ping Shan Museum
(University Museum and Art Gallery of The University of Hong Kong)

94 Bonham Road

The Fung Ping Shan Museum was originally erected in 1932 as a Chinese library. Named after its donor, the building consists of masonry walls on the ground level surmounted by a two-storey red brick structure with ornamental columns topped by a pediment above its entrance. The collection of Chinese books was transferred to the university library (now known as the Fung Ping Shan Library) in 1962 and the whole building was converted into a museum. The lowest three floors of the T.T. Tsui Building were set aside to form the University Museum and Art Gallery in combination with the old building in 1996.
