Staff Quarters of the Elliot Treatment Works

The Elliot Treatment Works together with the staff quarters were constructed in the early 20th century. The treatment works was used to treat raw water from Pok Fu Lam Reservoir. The water was supplied to the consumers in the western district of Hong Kong Island. However, owing to economic reasons, the treatment works has been decommissioned since 11 September 1993. Most of the facilities of the treatment works have been demolished for development of other important waterworks installations.
