“Heritage Hunt in Kowloon Park” Activity

Free admission. First come, first served. All are welcome.

Opened in 1970, Kowloon Park is a landmark of Tsim Sha Tsui and a popular leisure area. But do you know how the park looked like a century ago? Do you know the relationship between the park and Hong Kong’s history? Let’s discover the century-old remnants in the park and learn their history.

Activity Details:

Date: 17 November 2013 (Sunday)
Registration Time: 2 – 4 p.m.
Activity Time: 2 – 4:30 p.m.
Venue: Activity Room, Hong Kong Heritage Discovery Centre,
Kowloon Park, Haiphong Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon
Quota: 60 persons
Tutor: Assistant Curator of Antiquities and Monuments Office
Language: Cantonese
  1. This is an outdoor activity, participants should consider their own health condition as to whether they could finish the whole activity before registration. Please make sure you have comfortable clothing and shoes and prepare enough food and water, sunscreen, rainwear and mosquitoes repellent.
  2. Participants will receive orienteering information. They are required to walk to the checkpoints to report to activity’s volunteers and complete the task. Those who come back to the Activity Room before 4:30 p.m. will receive a souvenir.
  3. Participants should be responsible for their own safety and follow the instructions from the staff. The Centre is not liable for any loss of personal belongings or harm caused to the participants during the activities.
