Public Programme
Respecting Our Heritage While Looking Ahead:
“Chinese Buildings Sparkle on Card” Workshop

Free admission. No enrolment necessary. First come, first served. All are welcome.

Many traditional temples dedicated to Tin Hau and Hung Shing, the protective deities of the sea, were constructed in early Hong Kong as a result of the efforts from local residents whose livelihood relied mainly on fishing. Nowadays, some of the temples have been preserved and declared as monuments. They are invaluable resources for studying Chinese built heritage as well as the development of Hong Kong society in the past century.

In this Workshop, we will get to know their historical and architectural merits by making sparkling cards.
