23 March – 12 April 2009

1/F Exhibition Hall, Lower Block, Hong Kong City Hall

The May Fourth Movement in 1919 was one of the significant events with far reaching impact in the history of contemporary China. To mark the 90th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement, the Hong Kong Culture Association and six other cultural institutions jointly presented this exhibition. The exhibition would give visitors a better understanding of this epochal event and inspire them with the spirit of the May Fourth Movement. Featuring old photos and texts, it traced the background and development of the May Fourth Movement. The exhibition was organized in association with the Hong Kong Museum of History.
