Ultrasonic Welding Machine

Picture: Ultrasonic Welding Machine

An ultrasonic welding machine is commonly used to tailor-make polyester enclosures for encapsulating valuable and fragile paper documents so that they can be handled for examination without jeopardising the objects' conditions. This equipment employs ultrasonic wave (rather than direct heat) to weld pieces of polyester sheets firmly together. Unlike the commercial plastic laminators which allows adhesive to penetrate into the paper fibres (which is quite irreversible), the polyester enclosures made by this equipment do not stick to the paper and is reversible at any time.
