Collinson's letter

Remarks: This letter was sent by Lieutenant T.E. Collinson of the Royal Engineers on 23rd November 1845 to his family, in which his life and work in Hong Kong is mentioned; it includes a sketch of his living room.

Admiral Sir W M Dowell's address book

Remarks: This address book was presented from inhabitants of Hong Kong to Admiral Sir W. M. Dowell, then Commander-in-Chief of the British Naval Forces on the China Station, on 6th November 1885 on his departure from Hong Kong. It contains 329 signatures of the prominent people in Hong Kong at that time.

POW scrap book

Width: 20 cm
Remarks: This scrap book with drawings and short notes belonged to Private V A Itenson, Hong Kong Volunteer Defence Corps, an internee in Sham Shui Po Prisoners-of-War Camp, 1943.
